IRON MAN

This was a fun movie well worth the admission fee. The movie stays true to the hero's dark nature. This is a definate must if you enjoyed the old Iron Man comics like I did a million years ago. Lots of techy special effects and good story line. Marvel character does it again! I give it one and a half thunbs up, yeah I'm partial to Iron Man. This was a very well done flick.

I AM LEGEND

Well here it is plain and simple. This was an example of the lazy Hollywood writers ripping off an old story line because they can't come up with an original idea. Ten minutes into this flick I'm reminded of the dark story Omega man with Charelston Heston came to mind, an odd thing since I haven't seen it in over 24 years. But then I guess it's to be expected when your repackaging other peoples ideas. Now the plus to this movie is Will Smiths performance, very well done as always. I give it half a thumb.

ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS

Hi, this is one attempt following an apparent fad recreating old material. I often wonder if that's because the writers are just lazy, or if they truly lack any original thoughts....but thats for another conversation. This movie is funny and a great kids movie. So I give it one kiddie thumb up!
this one will give you a 92 minute break in your daily childcare duties. Get the little tykes some Gummys and relax.

Charlie Wilsons War

Now This Flick was right up my Alley. I think this one was outstanding. The Acting was superlative, but of course with Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks you'd expect that. The writing was very good. I am particularly fond the this type of subject matter and find historical biographies very entertaining and informative. I'm giving this one a firm One and a half Thumbs up!.

Juno

Ok here it goes, this was not the typical movie you'd catch me watching. However that being said I'd have to say this is a heart warming tale of first love. This movie makes you laugh, and at the same time brings tears to your eyes. This one pulls at your heartstrings on many different levels. So that's all I'm gonna say, get the popcorn and pull your special someone close. One thumb up for sure, worth seeing.
